Academic Accountability

Juggle the World, in partnership with the Watts/Willowbrook Boys and Girls Club, offers academic tutoring on a weekly basis for all of its program participants. Additionally, all high school JTW club members are required to maintain a 2.5 GPA in order to continue to be active within the club.

tutors from local colleges

Juggle the World's tutors are from undergraduate and graduate education programs at local colleges in Southern California. Not only does this provide inspiration for our athletes, but it provides mentorship opportunities as well.

academic performance standards

Before high school, Juggle the World's program participants are required to maintain passing grades. Once they enter high school, they are required to maintain a cumulative 2.0 GPA.

Additionally, Juggle the World interacts with the students' teachers to ensure fluid communication is effectively being delivered to the student and their families.

college-bound counseling

The vast majority of Juggle the World's club participants will be the first ones in their families to go to college. This creates an unique challenge but also an unique opportunity to provide special guidance counseling to club participants with both the next academic and/or athletic phases of their careers.

Become a JTW mentor or tutor

Juggle The World gives me confidence that in five years I will graduate from college and use my degree to specialize in a line of work with children, youth and family studies. Soccer will still be extremely present in my life, and I plan to continue to be happy and healthy.
